For the Elder Scrolls: Online, it has been quite an eventful year. ZeniMax Online Studios has successfully released some of the largest new DLC expansions for this four-year-old Elder Scrolls MMORPG throughout its history; they are (In alphabetical order): Dragon Bones, Murkmire, Summerset and Wolfhunter. However, the ESO fans can expect plenty more to come in 2019, according to what the game’s Creative Director stated.
2019 Will Mark The Fifth Anniversary of The Elder Scrolls: Online
To mark the end of the year for The Elder Scrolls: Online, the game's Creative Director, Rich Lambert, has published a letter to the game’s fans; he says: "2018 has been another great year for ESO, We saw the release of two new DLC dungeon packs with Dragon Bones and Wolfhunter, a new story DLC with Murkmire and, of course, the year’s big Chapter release with Summerset. We constantly challenge ourselves to create content that provides compelling new stories, visuals, and challenges, while at the same time giving you the chance to delve into the heart and soul of the many different peoples and cultures that reside in Tamriel."
That was quite obvious in2018. The Murkmire DLC, in particular, gave fans their first new look at Black Marsh since the game's launch. In fact, this delved further into the lore of Black Marsh and its Argonian inhabitants than any other Elder Scrolls game has ever done. Here, Lambert goes on to thank the development team at ZeniMax Online Studios. Meanwhile, he showed his own sentimental thoughts on the growth and strength of the ESO community, too. After that, he turned to the studio’s plans for 2019!
Based on what the Creative Director says: "[…] it’s going to be a huge year for The Elder Scrolls Online, I can’t say too much yet, and it is incredibly difficult to hold back details, but ESO will be 5 years old next year – a huge milestone for us and the community! As such, next year’s story and adventure will be something truly special for all Elder Scrolls Online players. We are so excited to be able to share it with you soon, and we can’t wait to see how you all put the pieces together starting early next year."
For me, I hope the ESO in 2019 would be much easier for our players to gain ESO gold. Cause that is always for me to collect gold. Especially when I need them urgently and seldom has the times for me get enough gold. So sad...
So for now, fans will have to wait patiently for more news of what's to come in 2019. And it seems that they will not be waiting long... And we have reasons to believe that the Elder Scrolls Online will not let us down. Cause it never let us down!
