ESO With Fan Templates To Celebrate The Cats of Elsweyr

The DLC (Downloadable Content) of The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO): Elsweyr is not too far away from release now, and of course, ZeniMax Online already has been doing a lot of to promote this upcoming expansion. But, their latest community event is certainly a bit of unorthodox; in order to celebrate the Alfiq, a form of the Khajiit which resemble housecats and which feature in the DLC, ZeniMax has offered templates to fans to show off their own pet cats.

The Celebration of Cats On The Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr DLC

In the legend of Elder Scrolls, the Khajiit which ESO fans are all familiar with is just one form of the feline race. As a matter of fact, there are a whole assortment of Khajiit variants which vary from the familiar humanoid form to much more cat-like creatures. Some of them even have almost no feline traits; for instance, the Ohmes is almost identical to Bosmer. And the Alfiq is a variant which appears just like housecats. Though these Khajiit cannot speak, they are quite smart and can understand speech. They are even supposedly capable of magic, and they are known to wear clothing, though they do require help putting on clothes.

Here is what we extracted from the game's official website: "While our beloved pets can't speak or cast spells (we think!), they do make for wonderful companions. Below, you can discover some of the real-world cats that inspire the ESO: Elsweyr development team every day, but in addition to them, you can download the two templates to create Alfiq out of your own kitties!”

All of Elder Scrolls Online fans can see the full gallery of "The Cats of Zos," on the Elder Scrolls: Online website. It has ten different photos, all of which feature cats owned by members of this game's development team. And certainly, this idea has resonated with fans; a lot of gamers have already shared pictures of their own cats on social media using the Alfiq templates.

For me, I am more willing to get massive ESO gold if I share my cat on social media using the Alfiq templates. Because right now the Elder Scrolls Online Gold I earned could not cover the expense I spent. What a shame...
