Fans Hope Skyrim-Playing Grandma To Be Immortalised In The Elder Scrolls 6

Seven years have already passed since the last Elder Scrolls game was released. And we are pretty sure that it'll need several years before we see the next version of Elder Scrolls. It's really a painful waiting for our young gamers though we get enough elder scrolls online gold and all the levels we've been through successfully. But for the older fans, it's a fierce competition to race against time. But thanks to this is an online campaign, fans are hoping at least one Skyrim-playing grandma will be involved in the next game and that's our dearest grandma, Shirley Curry.

Shirley Curry, if you are a fan of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, you must've heard of her. Because she might be the coolest grandma on the Internet, She's 82-year-old and she's a YouTuber who primarily records herself playing Skyrim. Due to the identity specialty, Shirley Curry has pretty much already won everyone's heart in the community of The Elder Scrolls. She called her subscribers as "grandkids" and spared no effort to reply to every comment left on her video. And her lets plays basically are the most wholesome thing you can find on the internet. Last year, 2017, she even made it into the Guinness World Record book for the reason as the oldest video game Youtuber. With so many honors, her credentials could not be doubted. Here is the Elder Scrolls Skyrim video comes from Shirley Curry and you guys should take a look:

However, her place at the center of an internet campaign, started after a Reddit user spotted her comment on a YouTube video, analyzed the comments Pete Hines made to Eurogamer about TES (The Elder Scrolls) 6's release window. Curry wrote "I guess that puts the nail in my coffin, When Skyrim 6 comes out I'll be 88! So I probably won't get to play it."

Apparently, that comment has tugged on the heartstrings of many Skyrim fans, especially the Shirley Curry's fans, so some of whom made up their mind to take action. One Reddit user phantom-scribbler started this whole thing with a post calling for Curry to be added to TES6 as a follower. Just like phantom-scribbler emphasized, Bethesda has done something similar for Oblivion fan Erik West. He visited the studio shortly before passing away from cancer in May 2011. And then in a very short time, he was immortalized in Skyrim as Erik the Slayer. And now, the fans want something similar for curry.

Phantom-scribbler explained: "How cool would it be to come across an elderly Breton who wants to kick some ass and asks to come along with you. " In the game, she lifts up her sword and puts on some armor and says, "Come on, grandson/daughter!" you're about to take down whoever gets in your way. Who wouldn't want her as a follower?"

Obviously, much of the Skyrim subreddit agreed, as the original post received over 9000 upvotes and even triggered a petition on Change.org. Phantom-scribbler has added a second post now, which calls on the community to help create a Grandma Shirley themed follower mod for Skyrim. According to the post, Curry is "enthusiastically on board" with this idea, and phantom-scribbler has now sourced a modder who is willing to make the follower mod. The team is currently asking for the community's help in choosing dialogue and sounds. All of these go so smoothly so far and we sincerely hope this project could work out.

We still do not know whether Bethesda will add Curry to TES6 or not. And it still needs sometime before we get the final answer. But considering the positive impact Curry has done in the Elder Scrolls community, it would be a worthwhile thing to do!
