The next festive season of The Elder Scrolls Online will begin on October 20 with the Witches Festival. Learn how to participate in the festivities and what rewards you can earn at the festival.

 

Zenimax will host the next festive season of The Elder Scrolls Online from October 20, at 4:00 pm CEST, in Tamriel with the Witches Festival. In an official preview of the festivities, the designers describe the festival as follows:

 

 

"As the nights grow longer and the year slides into darkness, the denizens of Tamriel defy their superstitious fears during the annual Witches Festival. Join the fun as ghosts, demons, and evil spirits are mocked and celebrated by occult occurances and the donning of outrageous costumes, which are all the more convincing in a world where hauntings are real and the dead rise to walk again."

 

If you want to participate in the Witches Festival, you have to equip yourself with the free Crow Caller in the Crown Store. Blast into the whistle and then take the Witchmother's "The Witchmother's Bargain" quest to get the Witchmother's Whistle.

 

Use this whistle to summon the Witchmother's Whistle, which transforms you and your party members into terrifying undead and gives you a 100% XP bonus. The transformation lasts two hours and may be used as often as you want until the first day of dusk (1 November, 3 pm CEST).

 

During the event, by the way, you are looted by all the World Bosses (such as powerful opponents or those who defy Delves, Group Dungeons, Public Dungeons, Trials, Arenas, and Dark Anchors), where you can find the following rare items:

 

• Hollowjack Motif Pages or Books

• A Runebox containing one of these masks:

• Pumpkin Spectre Mask

• Scarecrow Spectre Mask

• Hollowjack Spectre Mask

• Thicketman Spectre Mask

• Witches Festival-themed recipes

• Furniture and furniture recipes

• Motif style items

…and an assortment of creepy items such as worms, crawlers, guts, and other goodies!

 

 

Last but not least you have the opportunity to buy the Exorcised Coven Cottage in the Crown Store during the Witches Festival. So that you can get your own gold for yourself, you must first earn the Witches Festival achievement "An Unsparing Harvest", for which you have to master the following event achievements:

 

• Happy Work for Hollowjack

• Plunder Skull Enthusiast

• Pumpkin Pairs Well With Guts

• Reaper's Harvest
