The Elder Scrolls Online Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim is now live across PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. Running from October 21, 2026, to January 27, 2027, the new season brings Skyrim content into the base game, introduces two solo dungeons, and adds fresh rewards and returning seasonal events.

Greymoor and Wolfhunter Join the Base Game

One of the biggest changes is that the Greymoor Chapter is now included in ESO's base game. Players can explore Western Skyrim, visit Solitude and Blackreach, experience the storyline, unlock the Antiquities system, and access the Kyne’s Aegis Trial without an additional purchase.

The Wolfhunter DLC has also moved into the base game, making its dungeon content available to more players. On November 9, the Markarth DLC is scheduled to join the base game, allowing players to experience the conclusion of the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline.

Two Solo Dungeons Offer New Challenges

Season Two introduces solo versions of Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices. Both dungeons feature adjustable difficulty options and new rewards, giving solo players more opportunities to test their builds and combat skills.

Players who previously lacked access to the Wolfhunter DLC can also explore the original four-player versions of these dungeons as part of the base-game update.

New Tamriel Tome Rewards and Bazaar Items

The Season Two Tamriel Tome is now available with free and premium reward tracks. Players can work toward new collectibles, including the Maarselok Slayer Mammoth mount and the Azureblight Recall customized action.

The Gold Coast Bazaar has also received a seasonal refresh, bringing back selected rewards such as the Dark Aeon Wolf mount, Reanimated target dummy, and Antiquarian’s Alpine Gallery home. Players need Trade Bars to obtain returning items, which can be earned by completing Tamriel Tome challenges.

The Witches Festival is already underway, with Whitestrake’s Mayhem expected in November and the New Life Festival returning in December. Two Golden Pursuits campaigns are also planned: one themed around Skyrim in November and another focused on the Nowhere Vault in January.

More gameplay improvements are scheduled for Update 52 on January 19, 2027. Planned additions include increased furnishing limits for selected homes, expanded Companion appearance customization, area-of-effect pulls and taunts, and a new minimap interface option. A new PvP season will also begin alongside the update.

Echoes of Skyrim Runs Through January 2027

With familiar Skyrim locations, solo dungeon challenges, collectible rewards, and returning events, Echoes of Skyrim offers plenty for both returning veterans and newer ESO players. Most Season Two gameplay additions are free, while the Tamriel Tome includes optional premium rewards.

The season runs until January 27, 2027, giving players several months to explore the new content and work toward its rewards.
