ESO’s new Solo Dungeons let players tackle Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices alone or with a Companion. With adjustable difficulty, the Meted Misfortunes system, and a variety of rewards to earn, these dungeons offer fresh challenges for adventurers of all skill levels. Let’s take a closer look at their mechanics and rewards.
Meted Misfortunes are optional modifiers that increase a Solo Dungeon’s difficulty while offering better rewards.
At the dungeon entrance, look for a glowing pile of weapons and shields. Interact with it to activate up to three modifiers before starting your run. Once selected, your choices cannot be changed mid-run. If you want to try a different combination, use the nearby Reset Hourglass to restart.
After completing a dungeon, you must wait five minutes before starting another run, unless you use the Reset Hourglass to reset immediately.
Story
Pretty much Overland, trash mobs have even less Health than regular Overland mobs (24k). Monsters deal the least damage, have low health pools, and have fewer abilities
- Small amount of Gold and Undaunted Crests
- Very low chance of receiving a Monster Mask item set piece
Normal
Comparable to Normal Solo Arenas. Monsters deal threatening damage, have more health, can access more abilities, and appear in greater numbers
- Chance to receive a Monster Mask item set piece, Tarcyr/Mylenne Bust, Monster Mask style page, and Gold Companion Gear
- Increased chances for all other rewards
Veteran
More difficult than Veteran Solo Arenas. Monsters deal dangerous amounts of damage, have larger health pools, can use deadlier abilities, and appear in greater numbers
- Guaranteed Monster Mask item set piece and Tarcyr/Mylenne Bust
- Moderate chance to receive all other rewards
Dauntless
Difficulty is all over the place. In some places it's more difficult than soloing the Group version of the dungeon. Monsters deal deadly damage, have the largest health pools, and have all abilities and mechanics at their disposal while appearing in droves
- Guaranteed Monster Mask item set piece and Tarcyr/Mylenne Bust
- Best chance to receive all other rewards

Undaunted Crests
